We’re heading to Luxembourg!
Overlapse will participate in the first edition of EMOPLUX – the European Month of Photography Photo Festival in Luxembourg. For the first edition of their photobook market we will present publications alongside BLOW UP Press, SKINNERBOOX, Void, Leporello, Centre national de l’audiovisuel (CNA), and European Month of Photography.

Overlapse will have a table at the Fiebre Photobook Market from 3-5 May along with 20 other photobook publishers and vendors. The festival takes place in collaboration with the Art Photo BCN Photo Fair where the general public can view work by emerging photographers.
Along with photobooks the wider fair will be a showcase for galleries, curators and more.
ON 4 MAY FROM 6-6.45PM Tiffany Jones and Bego Antón will give a presentation: Overlapse photobooks and the making of Bego Antón’s ‘The Earth is Only a Little Dust Under Our Feet’

An Overlapse workshop in Barcelona!
Concept, Editing, Design and Production with Tiffany Jones
This is a collaborative presentation with Fiebre Photobook and Art Photo BCN.
During 5 hours of workshop, Tiffany will make a brief talk of the career of the publishing house Overlapse, then continue with a review of participants’ work to explore possibilities for effective expression. Each project will be discussed according to issues of concept, editing, design and production, with Tiffany advising in a personalised manner, to enhance the synergy of group work among all the participants.

The Naked Room Gallery and Bookshop opens its doors for the first time with a double exhibition of Lviv – God’s Will by Viacheslav Poliakov, and On the Edge by Elena Subach. These two artists are also collaborators in an exciting new project, City of Gardens, which was shortlisted for the 2018 New East Photo Prize.
At the 14th December opening there will also be a Kiev launch for Viacheslav’s first photobook, hosted by IST Publishing – all are welcome!

Join photographer Lewis Bush and publisher Tiffany Jones of Overlapse Books at the Albert Arms in Elephant and Castle to launch Metropole, a new book examining London’s reshaping at the hands of property developers, investors and speculators.
Elephant and Castle was where Metropole began four years ago. Join us for a drink to celebrate it’s conclusion just a few hundred metres from where the first photograph for the book was taken. Copies of the Metropole book will be avaliable for sale, along with a limited edition poster.

If you are in Paris this week please join us for the Polycopies photobook fair happening on the Concorde Atlantique boat, docked on the Seine just a short walk from the Louvre and Grand Palais (Paris Photo)! Hours are Weds-Fri until 9pm and Saturday 10am-7pm.
